Czech laboratory discovers new Covid-19 mutation

A lab in Brno says it has discovered a previously unknown mutation of COVID-19.
According to the head of the laboratory, Omar Šerý, the variant was discovered while examining samples of patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Mr. Šerý says the mutated variant is in the spike protein of the novel coronavirus and the available vaccines against COVID-19 should provide effective protection against it. /BGNES
