ECB increased the GDP growth in the Eurozone to 4% in 2021

The European Central Bank (ECB) expects the Eurozone GDP to grow by 4% in 2021, with forecasts slightly changed since December.

This was announced by the head of the bank Christine Lagarde at a press conference.

"Our forecasts report 4% GDP growth in 2021, 4.1% in 2022 and 2.1% in 2023," she said.

The current forecast predicts inflation of 1.5% in 2021, 1.2% in 2022 and 1.4% in 2023. Thus, the forecast for the current year is increased by 0.5%. /BGNES
