Bulgaria made up this problem on its own. Personally, I can't even explain to you what kind of problem it is, because it’s a comic. There is no such a problem.

This was said by the Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to Kathimerini newspaper.

"I think we will find a solution with Bulgaria. We need the help of Greece, which is currently our strategic partner. The voice of Greece is loud in the European Council through the words of Prime Minister Mitsotakis and Foreign Minister Dendias. They are stand for the integration of the Western Balkans into The EU and are focused on this process", said Zoran Zaev, who is attending an economic forum in Delphi, near Athens.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia claims that the negotiations with Bulgaria were "delayed due to the elections in our country".

"We continue to negotiate with them. We are friends with everyone. Bulgaria made up this problem on its own. Personally, I’m not even able to explain the problem to you, because it is a comic problem, a non-existent problem. We have to find a solution because it is in the interest of both - Bulgarians and Macedonians from North Macedonia. This will be for the benefit of everyone", Zaev added.

According to him, "his country has performed 100% of the necessary reforms to start EU membership talks" and if Bulgaria had wanted, it could have block his country during the negotiation process. /BGNES
