NIS reported an annual average inflation of 12.4% and a significant jump in food and fuel prices

Year-to-date inflation (September 2023 versus December 2022) is 3.6%, and average annual inflation for October 2022-September 2023 versus the same period a year earlier is 12.4%. In September 2023, monthly inflation was -0.1% from the previous month and annual inflation for September 2023 versus September 2022 was 6.3%.
