Plevneliev: Radev is irresponsible

The division does not help us, on the contrary, it hinders us a lot. The demonstration of such a severe division when it comes to the security of Bulgarian citizens is an act of extreme state irresponsibility. This is what Rosen Plevneliev, President of Bulgaria (2012-2018) said.

"Let's think logically, for a year and a half the president has been breaking the law and not convening the Consultative Council on National Security (CCNS). The public said the head of state does not respect the law and what does he do. Even more arrogantly, he is doing the opposite - inviting people, but partly not in the full format," President Plevneliev said.

He is adamant that the division invites the wolf into the fold.

"You see the great tragedy in Israel. To some extent it is provoked by the fact that, unfortunately, Israeli statehood in recent years has been severely divided on every conceivable issue. The services and the leadership of the army have been beheaded. It looks as if we are about to do the same thing in Bulgaria," President Plevneliev warned.

He is extremely worried that at such a moment of historical importance our state leadership looks this way. /BGNES
